I handslung a mate of mine about 20 years ago. We got it a bit wrong. Somehow or other he did get past me but he got a wobble on and his front wheel folded in half. So this was the day we (he) discovered that honey was very good for gravel rash.
This is what begged the question. I tried to handsling a mate once, he pretty much stayed put and i went into the verge, over the bars and into a ditch. I haven't given it another go.
Handslings - how the hell do they occur without pushing yourself over?
