That was a bit confusing. Apparently, he has a SRAM xx1 1x11 trigger shifter on the right and uses that gripshifter on the left to control the shock settings.

A lot of riders are rigging up stuff like that. Can't remember who it is, but they used an XTR shifter to control the post. Really neat. Also want!
