Is anyone driving to the london league on Sunday have has a spare seat, before I book my train ticket? I'd rather give Ā£15 to a forumger than Southern trains

I've been running the Vittoria XLs in a variety of conditions this season. Now, I'm no expert at this game, but here's my thoughts:
On hard, grassy ground, they're excellent - amazing side grip on off-camber stuff and very little drag. No rumbling when used on road, due to the tread profile down the middle of the tyre.
When it gets muddy, they're disappointing, because they just clog up easily and slip & slide all over the place. Side grip goes and forward traction too. Hard work to clear mud from them, even on faster dry concrete road sections. -

Thanks for the feedback.
I'm going to give the XMs a go this weekend. I was going to return them and get the XLs instead, but they are out of stock with the shop I got them from.

The particular woods in question are in Ramsaye's as yet unmown back garden with its arboreal grasses.

We really don't want to know about his unkempt back garden thank you

Oh, it's unlikely you'll ever go there. Chingford's in the arse end of London. :)

I've just done a load of pruning out front so that looks a lot neater.

I'm having problems with getting it to drain properly at the moment.

Should be ideal for those who like their cyclo-cross muddy.

Within M25? yes. London? yes. Inside zone 3? yes. Zone 2? maybe...
We will give away a few more hints in the lead up.

Can't wait to race it/ hand out beer and shout at it!

I've got a bike to ride for it! So excited. Now thinking, in the absence of any chance of being a top 10 rider, of outfits. It may involve many lights. Hey, maybe I can dazzle all the other riders out of contention.

Thrilling racing in classic conditions at Koksijde today - well worth a watch if you an hour to two to spare.

Going to do that when i get home and put all my kit in the wash..
Hah yeah it looks like they've taken the knobs directly from the MTB version and transferred it across to a 32mm carcass.. The MTB version is definitely not a mud tyre; the cyclocross version looks more like a Nobby Nic.
