Got some bits n bobs together today. Cranks and BB arrived this morning, cheap ebay special. Got some grips for free from a skateshop I used to work in, and got a pretty much new Concor out of my spares box. Soz bout the shit tier photography, phone camera doesnt work so have to take everything selfie mode.
Also, found some extra peng multi coloured spokey dokeys in some shit shop for a quid, so theyre now on the blue deep vs. Feels like 2008.

Reviving this shit after not really keeping up with it, I'm shit at getting anything done to any kind of timescale, but the purple frame's nearly all together, just waiting on tyres to arrive and then I'll whack some pics up tomorrow.
The silver frame I need a bit of help with though, it's a 27" frame, which means its proper awkward. In need of a cheap quill stem, long reach brakes (or brake), and an italian threaded bb. If anyone about in London has any of that on the cheap, would be super helpful. -

I've got a 27" flip flop rear wheel you could have for £10 if you can pick it up from camberwell

Cheers mate, got wheels sorted already tho, just the long clearance on the fork thats awkward, gotta get one of them long drop brakes but theyre a pain to find cheap. Appreciate it tho pal!

Gonna revive this thread real quick and see if anyone wants this frame, pretty bog standard gas pipe 27" racer. Bought it for this project but everything on it seems to be some unheard of size.
Italian BB, seemingly slightly oversized fork steerer (quills don't seem to tighten in quite enough) and the seatpost that came with it doesn't actually fit properly either. Just want rid of it really so if anyone wants to collect it and chop it up or do whatever with it you're welcome to. (And if you fancy swapping it for any old 27.2 post or some brakes that works too ;) )I'm based in Harrow, if you want it just send me a PM or something. Safe.
Edgy stickers and dodgy Ofmega headset included, peng green saddle not included.

REEEEEEEUPPPPPPP!
Just won this gaspipe monstrosity for £15 on ebay, so someone please take the silver one before I chuck it out.
Pretty much the whole bikes sorted, just after some cheap brakes and levers if anyone on here has any, and then to the sticker box to make it even more gaudy.
Currently building up two different bikes, one for myself and one for a mate, both cheap beaters.
First off, I picked up an old French track frame off here the other week. Planning to build it up with cheap black and silver bits. Seems to have a 22.0 steerer tube with a 22.2 technomic stuck in it, so I guess I'll keep that in there. Aim for the build is just something I can knock about on without having to worry about locking up my nice bike.
Secondly, got an old 48cm Eddie Merckx frame and a plan for a build thats definitely gonna raise some questions. Aim is to build it as cheaply as possible, so nothing's gonna match at all. Wheels are a spare set of blue deep v's I had lying around, cranks are bright orange ones for a tenner off ebay, bars, grips and saddle are flouro pink for extra yolo points, and whatever else is coming straight out of the spares box. Expecting it to go straight to anti when it's done. I'll feel like I've achieved something when it does.
