Does anyone know where one could get rectangular bolt-on v brake mounts like the ones pictured? Or anyone who could make a pair?
I'm entertaining the idea of putting some on a V2.
(And yes I know I can get some brazed on or use a v brake plate.) -

Would someone kindly measure the top tube ctc, headtube length, and ST length above TT on their V2 long for me?
-
• #3542
Always wanted a racelink, but they weren't the best for racing...
-
• #3543
Headtube length doesn't really tell you much due to the 410mm length fork.
However I can tell you a medium one would give you a stack of 57cm ( give or take).
-
• #3544
How does the stack height compare to other similar frames? Seems kind of high on the smaller ones I've seen

It is high, in fact my V2 Small have the same headtube length as my V3 medium (135mm).
BMW does nailed the geometry down enough to fit a wide range of people, as long the shorter one don't mind the excessive headtube length (for a BMW).

I looking to get the exact measurements because I'm trying to have a Ti frame built to similar dimensions to a V2 long
also, saw a V3 large in the wild today, will take pics soon

Using what fork? Standard CX fork at 395mm, road are 375mm.
The frame builder may have to tweak the geometry significantly to be used with normal fork.
Email BMW as they have gotten quite good at replying emails.
V3 Large is out already?

I'd be using a cross fork, likely a wound up, would 15mm be a significant difference?
The V3 I saw was at a bike store and apparently ordered by the owner before they even started selling them publicly. There was also a medium in the window and the difference was slight, but noticeable. My phone is broken but I'll take a picture tomorrow, I might even ask them if I can measure it.
When you take in to account the huge risers too, it probably feels a little like it looks. Maybe it's a touch over geared but I'm sure it's still wheelie central!
