Always seems to be a trade off between slowing you down when you don't want it and slowing you down when you do :-) I think the Vision lever is even more unpleasant to use than the 3T ones, and neither is good for actual braking. The SRAM lever looks like it should be a good compromise, nice to use without the brick-like shape of the Shimano ones.

The old school Vision knife lever, but it still does cause a bit of drag.
