Fork rake doubts

Posted on
  • Building an old cannondale capo and trying to source a new fork to replace the aluminium anchor originally included with the frame...

    1. EC90 are a popular choice for the Capo but also expensive and full of logos... Also not very sure about full carbon (inc steerer) after a recent accident (front impact with a driver that abruptly decide to turn left without warning) ... Any alternatives?

    2. Found some Columbus Tusk forks (with aluminium steerer) on sale but they are 45 rake... Cannondale's chart states 45 rake but several forums online seem to suggest that 43 rake is actually the correct measure... bit confused! Will it make such a difference?

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • either one will be fine, 73 degree headtube and 45mm rake is usually the norms.

  • Thanks Ed!
