• Been trying to get my head around why some people (seemingly the d2z lot but that's not true 100%) seem to do so well on the uber fast courses but seem to slow relatively more than others on the slower sc courses vs the other front runners - is it that their very good positions are set up for 0 degrees yaw and therefore at slightly slower speeds and with less of a tow so therefore higher yaw the people who are out and out power monsters and those set up in more real world situations don't lose as much?

would ask on ttf but think it would be taken the wrong way...

  • Yeah, the more aero you are the more you benefit from traffic on courses like the V718. So guys like Mork who are super slippy but have (relatively) little power can knock out 18s easily there, but struggle to do anything close to that on decent courses.

Compared to guys like Hutch who are were fast due to sheer power who won't gain as much from a fast course.

  • would ask on ttf but think it would be taken the wrong way repeatedly smashing myself in the face with a lump hammer whilst on a double-date with Jim Carey and Jennifer Anniston would be preferable...

  • 5deg yaw not 0deg, but the popular hands up position falls to bits once you go outside a tight range of yaw. Great for the V718, not so much for elsewhere.
