  • The minirig is designed a bit differently from a lot of portable speakers, the driver is a bit bigger and it actually gives reasonable bass (not the boomy bose version).

  • Didn't want to be the only person fighting thus corner so thank you.

    I was going to post the graph of the freq response from the original minirigs but can't find a high enough res copy.

    That original thread that Davey made on speakerplans speaks for itself and goes to show that the product was made from a sound techs point of view and that sound quality ranked higher than volume.

    Have a read and if somehow you're in doubt and in London then id be more than happy to demo my lot.

  • Wasn't a personal dig, don't worry! I've heard a minirig (only outside, on its own) and it was about what could be expected from the driver size (which is bigger than most). I've been reading through the thread, so thanks for the link.
