  • I didn't ever think it would be a worthwhile purchase until I was on holiday with a mate recently and he had a pioneer one, sound was ok but just so useful, I'll definitely get a lot of use out of it at home and great for holidays too.

  • It seems although you've found your answer but after about 4 years hard use/abuse and owning 3; I stand strongly by Minirig and their products even though the price has since gone up upon introducing Bluetooth.
    Solidly built with impressive sound quality, absurd battery life, loud, capable of daisy chaining infinitely, Bluetooth and able to send out charge current for recharging phone/iPod etc, also insanely good customer service (have had two faults over the years - repaired free of charge with a 3-4 day turn around along with new cables included)

    I know it's all relative but I find it odd when people say things like this about small speakers. They might be loud but all the volume is in the speech frequencies (or a weird hollow pseudo bass if it's Bose) and I find them horrible to listen to.
