I'd suggest a more aero position, rather than your sit up and beg sail in the wind posture. Your short stem means you have little weight on the front wheel.
More fork rake = easier to ride in cross wind.
Or just get used to the bike.
Front disc wheel will add weight and make you faster...

As we all know, air is very light. How much air do you have in your front tyre? Let some out and it will become heavier.
