  • Cool. No I don't know of anything like that.

Perhaps post this in the HiFi thread, but I'm a little bit confused. As far as I can tell you want to do two things:

    1. Play music off your phone on a Bluetooth speaker (easily achieved)
    2. Use said Bluetooth speaker to then route the sound into another hifi, presumably with its own speakers.

Have I understood this correctly? Does the hifi have its own speakers? Why do you want the sound to go to your hifi from your phone? Is it in a separate room to the Bluetooth speaker?

  • Hifi - loud and good sound, but wouldn't mind being able to play music off my phone so I can lay lazily on the sofa listening to music from my phone without having to get up to change music.

Portable but decent Bluetooth speaker - can take with me to the garage, kitchen, garden, holiday...

  • Juice SoundSquare scores high on portability, works well for background music in quiet places. Don't expect it to drown out the power tools in the garage/kitchen/garden.

  • You could try Chromecast Audio. Ticks the hifi box at a very good price. Then get a Bluetooth speaker of your choosing, or even some other portable speaker w. a line-in and get another Chromecast Audio?
