  • It's all in the mind. English players have been plenty good enough on paper. They simply lack balls on the big stage. They also lack real passion and commitment to the cause. Take chile in the last World Cup as an example. They had Gonzalo jara FFS among others and yet perform with bravery instead of cowardice. England's continued failures will not be remedied by better training, ball work, yoga, tactical awareness etc. they are an E2 team but they shouldn't be. with the talent at their disposal over the years they should have been E1.
    The only thing in the players
    Defense is that we take international football less seriously as a nation compared to others and this is not such a bad thing at all.

  • They're too soft. Getting £30K/week as someone in the reserves flouncing about with your Dre Beats headphones and designer toiletry bag means you'll never have the balls. Ever.

    Bring back boot cleaning.
