So handlebars arrived today from @Ayojay. Another surprisingly fast service!
So yep, now they fit in with the rest (headset, stem, seatpost, cranks - anything not black or white) so I can now use grips, yey!
Put some Nitto bar plugs (alu as well!!!) in I had left over and, at least to me, they look lovely jumbly. Dunno what to do with the red Heat treated sticker: keep or peel?
Ill try and get pictures in, most likely weekend as of the lighting conditions now.

no prob. hhc is doubting if 52t will be enough anyway, and i got a 54t for swaps if he wants. he'll try first.
i'm not actively searching though, life priorities and stuff, hence.
and not keen on getting stuff directly from japan with high (compared) postage and possibility of import tax.no worries, as i said. cheerio

Huh? What I meant was I am getting dangerously close to doing the bike version of driving a super fast sports car as it is with a 52TT, let alone a 54T.
As I said, please don't get any hopes up and please pursue any reasonable 52T ventures, makes my morale dilemma much simpler.

ah. understood that wrong. theres no moral dilemma guyz. all well.enjoy! xxx

Birthday was yesterday so pedals and clips have been received.
This weekend I'll try and get some snaps.
Just chain and straps before rideable!

The handlebars from @Ayojay . They fit in much better now. I put some spare nitto plugs in them which I always think look pretty cool. Think I've also got the gist of removing them now so that good.
The Toe Clips from the LBS. Sadly not the alloy ones.
And the pedals also from the LBS. Sadly no NJS stamp on these. That makes it the third non NJS component after the chainring and seat post.

Only half the pics work for me now...
Bars look great. I didn't think you could get alloy cages? I've used those pedals a fair bit before, reasonably priced and decent

Odd, which ones don't?
I didn't think you could get alloy cages?
Im only guessing as the ones bellow certainly look like they're alloy. Probably only come in small sizes anyway.

Didn't want to update this till christmas where (hopefully I'd have something to say).
I had had my eyes on a pair of Mavic E Argent rims on hilarystone and only now have I contacted them to be told that they were sold a while ago and that the website hadn't been updated.
I need ideas quick; silver, clinchers, 36H rims, no obvious braking surface and relatively boxy that aren't too modern.
Ideal would be Mavic E modules or MA40s.
Please help me find them before Christmas.I have also bought the chain, did order the Izumi but received the DID chain instead:

TB14s were crossed off? Have brake surface but are OK rims right?
-
• #247
yes they were outed. Their braking surface isn't the issue; I am just not a fan on H+son - dunno why.

Cheaper on Spacycles. I have a pair of these; very heavy but strong. Slightly deeper than tb14s

they look quite grey don't they?
I've got a lead that seems hopeful. Will report back when I know more.
noooooooooooo i missed first dibs?!:(
