not 50s but the 'Club Sport' set was probably almost identical in the 70s. /not an expert

Chainstays varied a fair bit in the 50's. A lot of frame builders used 'pencil' stays which could narrow down to 9mm at the drop out end. Clips are not expensive, but I'd wait to see the frame myself.

I measured the frame, skully was right.
Now the seatpost, it's 26.0 in one direction (12 o clock - 6 o'clock axis) and 27.0 in the other (3 - 9 o'clock)!
Bent at the clamp obviously.

As long as you can get it out okay...
I am trying to work out the appropriate diameter for a p-clip for a 1950s reynolds 531 chainstay. I don't have the frame and want to buy the p clip to have everything ready by the weekend.
Anyone know what size / have a chart showing tubing diameters and other measurements for different tubesets?
