Riding around off road, not particularly hard but in all weather conditions.
I expect to wear chains our faster than normal but not to this extent, it barely registered as worn but was breaking apart by itself. Until today I never pushed pins back into it but I ran out of quick links...
I'd not had good experience with sram SS chains either. I'm hoping a KMC would last longer but if not maybe a wipperman?

From a batch made on a Friday maybe.

The 1130 is no even in the TOUR Magazin test. The Dura Ace and Campagnolo won.

Asking for a friend. They rent a 2 bed. It was 1250 a month. The landlord upped it when she brought her other 2 kids in from Spain. English isnt her first language. The rent is 1500. This seems bonkers and unfair. Is it illegal? What can she do?

Is it illegal?
Probably not, if it was the most common form of contract (Assured Shorthold Tenancy) and the rent change happened after the expiry of the fixed term of the contract.
What can she do?

Need to replace a drop out on a frame. Old style geared long drop outs, not the new type vertical ones nor track. Is there a go to frame builder who'll do it? Seem to remember someone mentioning a company that began with an 'a', that would do it for £60...

Toughest 11spd chain?
No such thing.
Just avoid Shimano's own, they wear out surprisingly quickly.

I ran into a similar situation - the chain was old, but kept breaking...turns out I wasn't pushing the pins back in properly (SRAM PC series chain).
I don't like using SRAM PC chains. Recently, I've used a KMC X10-EL (so not 11sp, solid pins hollow links) for 700km in dry dusty conditions, lubed about every 150km. Didn't miss a beat. I assume their KMC X11-EL is similar. I would step down to a non-hollow plate chain in wet conditions, purely as the hollowed out parts of chains pick up lots of dirt with wet lube...I cursed myself every day I was running an X11-SL (hollow pin, hollow plate) on my roadie in winter.

Off road riding does make a great grinding paste. Are the pins wearing or poping out?
You running 1x11?

Due to work I'm in New York for the weekend. Have some work to do but will have some spare time. Any suggestions on what to do? I've already done a lot of wandering, top of the rock, cycle round central park. Thinking maybe a museum?

Go to the MET, you can easily spend a few hours in there.
The $25? entry fee is a suggested donation, so you can pay $1 if you like.
Fred Perry outlet in Brooklyn is worth a visit. The deals tend to be found in the female section.

I wish to create a tool wall. Should I use peg board or just ply wood and little nails?
Pros/cons?

Do you check stock lvls evn?

The cost of hooks for peg boards turned me away from that option.
Make sure you outline the tool placement on the board, though your memory may be better than mine. -
