I went to M&S, normally excellent. I think my €200 cost me £148 on Tuesday. I'm back in Paris for Paris Photo. What are you up to?

All - which track nuts should I buy and where are they available? Thanks. Perhaps there is a @mdcc_tester approved choice?

The Velosolo ones look fine if you want 1mm pitch. If you need 26TPI for Campag hubs, you probably want to get genuine Campag and suck up the price, the EAI copies are only about 1/3 less anyway.

Very nice and very old Carradice saddle bag...
Also very grubby and stinky and in needs of repairs.
My plan is:
-washing machine low temperature
-all repairs / re stitch
-re wax cotton and re grease leathers.Am I doing this right? (Obviously mostly worried about the washing machine part, the rest is no concern)

Thanks muchly.

A lot of low temperature programs rely on long soak times with occasional agitation - achievable in a bucket where the grubbiest bits can also be attacked with a brush. A long rinse with dilute Jeyes Ibcol or similar should sort anything living in the fabric causing stink. 3-4 hours Stergene, stirring every time I go past / think about it, quick rinse, 3-4 hours Ibcol, drip dry, has sorted stinking canvas shoes and trainers without problems, re-finishing leather bits with Renapur once dry - it also avoids possible issues with buckles damaging the washing machine...

It might cost you a few quid more to take it out of the ATM in Paris but well worth it to avoid queuing up in the Post Office. There's a Euro ATM in Bank tube station, may be some others around as well if you google

Yeah, I got lazy after I sold my 1st garmin and just used the phone app and never really named them unless they were races. I've still got my longest distance though, and I don't think I've any new koms.

Toughest 11spd chain?
SRAM PC1130 was alright for a few weeks until this week where it's snapped in 4 different places on 4 different occasions... I only have so many quick links.

knc?
No, KMC. Of course, KMC might actually make SRAM chains*, so you'd be no better off unless KMC make their own brand chains to a higher standard than their OEM ones :-)
*It's likely to be them or Yaban or Taya.
Dont go to post office, check john lewis currency exchange as I coulda got €30 more going through JL and picking up in a local waitrose store. Might be a bit late though now..
