  • You do not get paid £350-400 per person for straight up 'extra work', or else we'd all be doing it. I know a good few people who did for a while and it'd be more like £100 + expenses for a 10 hour day with a lot of hanging around doing nothing.

  • If you read my post, that rate is for an extra supplying a significant prop, i.e. a bicycle. A specialist bike supplier to the film industry like Doug Pinkerton charges £600 a day, just for the prop hire.

    Most bike adverts/bike safety ads expect you yup supply your own bike and that's the industry rate for extra + prop.
