Video Games

So, I need a new console (for Fallout 4), have a history of owning PS, but willing to get an XBoxOne if it's significantly better. Any forum opinions on the two?

I got in precisely one hour of Fallout 4 before the movers arrived today to pack everything up. Boooooo

Still, the next time u play it, it will be on a 55 inch 4k screen :)

I went for PS4 for that reason despite owning a 360 (can't get The Last Of Us on Xbox).

Caved in and bought the xbox 1 last night for Fallout. Got it home, unpacked, all excited...
Controller turned out to be a dud. Microsoft say 5 days for a replacement to reach me... until then I can just sit and look at the disc

Loving Fallout, stupidly didn't realised I can level up my lock picking/hacking until at levels 20.

Time to go back and unlock all the safe/doors.

I have a spare controller you can borrow.

Anyone tried the Stalker series? I have dl'd it but yet to get a chance to fire it up.
Not planning on doing much work in December so going to be doing some serious "gaming".

Fallout sounding much better than the preview footage suggests.

Also really keen on Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Vaguely toying with a console after all this but think I'll still pick up a heavy duty PC in January.

It's Xbox exclusive right now, will be PC + PS4 in 2016.

Just get FO4, that will take you ~300+ hours to finish, enough time for Tomb Raider to get released

Graphics cards - I assume there isn't any issue with buying them in the US for using in the UK. Seem to be about the same $ as GBP.

I binge game. For me 300 hours is literally 12.5 days.

Except in the case of Fallout, you can start the games as a different character with different special (like s really dumb vault dweller with no intelligent and charisma).

I agree, but from a marketing point it's pretty clever to gain more customer toward the Xbox just for the Tomb Raider fans.

Sony leaning the way with some of their PS4-only games (like Welcome To The Rapture).
