  • If it doesn't have a lockring, how is the sprocket staying on? If you're leg-braking, then you need a lockring or, at the very least, for the sprocket to be permanently bonded to the hub.

    Using a road hub, fixed without a lockring is known as a "suicide conversion" for a reason.

    If you're skidding with neither of those that's up to you, but if you're gone to state that something which is normally dangerous is safe, then you need to explain why that's the case.
