I used to do those on Friday pm . By Saturday am I was banging the A lines.

That's OK tho. I'd expect you'd avoid a 10 foot drop-off in Morzine too whilst riding a hardtail. Trouble is, people do take the A-lines, way beyond their ability, and then break themselves because they've been conditioned that the B-line is for 'chickens'.
