That's what you get for buying a Cannondale, csg are absolute thunderc**nts to the worst degree. If it were Fox or Rockshox you'd either have a new fork in the case of R/S or a 24hr turn around in the case of Fox. If you were experiencing these troubles with one of the other two big brands they'd just ship you new parts from themselves. I've been working with bikes for over six years now and cannot recount a single experience I have ever had with csg where I have come away thinking to myself 'what excellent customer service' it has been amongst the worst in the industry on every single occasion.
Leftyshambles rumbles on:
You'd think that, in an effort to get the owner back on the bike, a warranty repair would be a straight fork swap, but apparently not - TF do a full tear down, decided it needs a new lower, ordered the lower, waited for the lower, received the wrong lower, have asked for the right lower, but now can't get in contact with CSG Germany, with whom they deal with, not CSG UK, to obtain this lower, which will probably take a couple of weeks to deliver.
In the interests of getting me back on the bike, I asked them would it not be quicker and less pain to just ship me a new fork, and TF's response was that it doesn't cost THEM anything to do a rebuild. Neglecting the cost of keeping me off the bike for weeks and missing the races I wanted to do on it. Let's just sweep that aside.
So fail of TF, fail of CSG.
