Weird, was just looking at Gravel Kings for winter tyres for my Synapse.
Any thoughts on them in 26mm over Fortezza Senso All Weather in 25mm?
Price difference is negligible. 26mm should fit ok, currently running 25mm open corsas on superstar Arc31 and they're coming out at about 28mm with 2mm spare on either side.

bit late but... good choice. They are like a hardier Open Pave. Still grip well and won't cut up as much. Less supple though. I haven't noticed any real drag compared to a road specific tyre either, they roll well. True to their name, they are very competent when the surface gets loose or rough.
I am running a 28mm set on archetypes in my fixed and I'd say they are true to size on a wide rim.
Admittedly I'll be buying a new set of OPs for the road bike bike though. -

Installed the 26mm gravel kings on my arc rims. Came out at 27mm, .5mm narrower than the 25mm OPs. Makes it slightly more convenient for riding with guards though so not complaining

I've got a pair of Schwalbe Racing Ralphs, the sidewall was cut (guessing flint) very early on in it's life, I fitted a tyre boot and then raced them for two Summer CX Series.
They've still got lots of life left in them, but the tyre boot is a kludge - is there a better method of closing the cut? Vulcanising solution and a big patch on the inside?

^fast grippy and don't puncture but RRP is stupid and £25 is the most I have or would pay when they get discounted.

Wetsuit glue ("neoprene adhesive"?): it remains flexible when dry, unlike regular glues.
A patch on the inside would likely still be needed.

It was the Turbo Cottons I was hoping would be discounted :(

Interesting. No Conti Supersonic or Veloflex Record though.

I'm not convinced how their results map to the road. They use a 50kg load (that equates to a rider of under 43kg) and a speed of 40kmh and test on a drum. The "real world" looks different. While they also list the width they don't seem to mention the pressure nor their selection of rim (or rims) so even on the "drum" I think the results are not scientific enough to draw any conclusions. Seeing that its VeloNews to paraphrase the old "Radio Moscow" back in the Soviet Days: "I think it is no coincidence that Specialized..."...

a little bit late as comment but I have been running every single day since october the schwalbe Durano plus (25C) for my commuting as well as in the week end (well... I had only one road bike until few weeks ago) on Zonda rims. I moved the Durano few weeks ago on DT swiss rims (a little bit wider). They are slow because my week end bike has now normal One (25C) and the reactivity of the bike is completely changed... buuuut, I never stopped once with the Durano on the side of the road (more or less 4000 km)

They write 50kg per wheel - pressure and rims are mentioned as well.
Good stuff coming from Panaracer.

Slick 32mm tubeless tyres look great. Had some 28mm ones before but never rode them tubeless.
Excited for these and Schwalbes new 2016 set of One tyres.
