Anyone been Tattoo'd by duncan x? I'd quite like him to do my knees. I get the impressionism he has a bit of a waiting list....

@jakemcree When I got tattoed by him a couple years ago he used to open his books for a couple of months at a time so not a long wait. You had to get in quick though to book in that period. Speak to Blue at into you and she'll let you know when his book opens next then call them first thing that day.

Was nice to be done at his home studio upstairs from me.

Saw that on IG. Fucking sick, very jealous.

Yeah man, that dude is super nice and he does great work.* Now I need to figure out how to get back to London again to get him to finish it. Or wait and see if he is really going to come guest in Berlin. Unfinished tattoos that you know are going to be great are hard to have patience for.

Also I almost died that day. It turns out I am a total sissy.

BTW in the same shop there are some other good dudes. I especially like what Deno does (I think some of you have stuff by him, yeah?)

*Also, I mean dude, I basically gave him a bunch of ideas and photos and stuff and said "these are the sorts of vibes and ideas I have, please use some of them and your own stuff to make the thing that looks the best." And then he did it. In a rad way that I am stoked on. I can't help but feel like the worst client ever though. I'm like the "I'm hungry, bring me something good to eat" of tattoo clients.

Black and grey. He says 2 more medium length sessions but could probably get it in in one long one if I can only get there once. Trying to get my mental in place for that ;)

There is that "the juice is worth the squeeze" expression, which is always a weird one to me. Juice is gross unless you also squeeze some rum/gin/whiskey into it.

i got my other knee done by kola this afternoon (and @laner got a platypus):

start of the rest of the leg! le stoked. i'm normally pretty good with pain thresholds but i absolutely hated the kneecap. thought i was going to cry, vomit or pass out. unreal. thank god i've got them out of the way now.
