@pharoahsanders I've met Robin a couple of times, both at Bespoked and TBA. He's a really nice guy and a modest and very talented framebuilder. I also like his celebration of the bicycle as utility transport....it's the way it should be; and why ride a shit bike for most of the miles you ride, makes no sense?

@Jingle_Jangle my first fixie was a Grandini. A mate found the frame in a barn in Wales, it was more my size than his, so we built it up and for two years it was my commuter. After 2 frame failures (seat tube and stearer tube) I didn't fancy a third. That then led to the Feather......
Take care @Jingle_Jangle @pharoahsanders @Dantheman up there in the smoke. -

So we produced this story, video and slideshow about building in London. If you like it please share on facepalm etc it as i need a ton of traffic to justify it to my boss! http://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2015-11-06/london-cycling-boom-renews-demand-for-artisan-bike-builders (posted in the Talbot thread too but seems relevant here)

headline story on bloomberg !
We've had a few chats about bikes over the years, and I remember talking about the frame you built at Downland and you saying you wanted to build some more.
Pleased to see your username references SE London.
Good luck with the building.
