Since you're set on SMP, you don't need inline I hope?
Makes sense none you do.
-
• #303
Your Dalsnibba have the saddle set quite a bit forward on a setback post, hence the question.
-
• #304
That still makes no sense, Ed.
You are suggesting I don't need an inline post as my saddle is set very far forward on a layback post - which would seem to be the wrong way round.
Also, my old Dalsnibba had an inline post in its final incarnation:

I mean, you got seatpost with a fairly big setback on the Klein, I'm asking if you don't think you need an inline to run this saddle on the Klein as I haven't seen the geometry.

Clear.
Syncros looks good.

• #307
Youre Serotta allready is a beauty. Im pretty sure, this will be stunning as well ;)
-
• #309
^ That's the stuff right there
-
• #310
I've got one of the the OG Syncros seatposts lying around
what size you after?
Or do you have one already?
-
• #311
27.2 - and ~300mm would be perfect, if that's what you have then I'd be obliged.
-
• #312
I do - let me get my tape measure.
logos are in pretty good knick but maybe could be touched up. I can ping you over a message?
-
• #313
That'd be great.
-
• #314
Had same problem, couldn't get a Nitto pearl or Technomic fit around the noodles curves. Opening the stem up more than that would have likely risked damage.

• #315
Bit stuck until the headset turns up:

• #316
So clean! Looking good Neil - what's the hunt for Syncros like?
-
• #317
Post and stem both on their way, post looks good in the photograph, stem has some decal damage - I'll see if I can refinish it. It's a 130 so be nice to use it.
-
• #318
Surely you can do up the rear wheel and chain?
-
• #319
It might be perspective but an outer that short compromised my shift quality. Might not apply as not brifters.
-
• #320
Nice lookin frame. And that is one hell of a cat scratchin post!
-
• #321
Option 1:
Option 2:
Second one is closer to the original (and now sadly lost) clamp.
-
• #322
2
-
• #323
Strip the second with oven cleaner? Would looks a bit out of place if its the only black component on the entire bike
Unless the stock part would have been black of course
-
• #324
Stock was black.
-
• #325
I like the first one.
But if the seatpost and stem are to be black. I reserve the right to reverse that opinion.
Nein?
