She is one I my favourite club techno DJs. I first met her when she worked behind the counter in Mental Groove records in Geneva, she was the girlfriend of Oli who ran the shop and label. Her selection was always spot on, and very tidy discrete mixes. We had some fun times, DJing at DJ Hells club in Munich.
Will check that out.

This one is a bit special.
In 1987 my mate Dave Martin bought this album somewhere in our hometown of Aylesbury when we were 15 and it blew our fucking minds. Allegedly only 80 copies ever got pressed of this live recording of a couple of West London Soul All Dayers.
Everything about it is fucking amazing.

Jazzy Jeff at the Do-Over, if you can get past the mc, who I don't mind, but others may find irritating, it's a gorgeous mix of soul and hip hop bangers...

Drexciya, James Bond soundtrack, Basic Channel, Klang Records, Techno belters and deepest house.
Not many could put it together with such aplomb, but bitd Miss Kittin was probably my favourite club DJ (edit @EB I realised I said the same thing on the same page of this thread 2 years ago). She was always so slick, and with the ability to play properly weird shit next to more conventional things and keep the crowd with her.

Digging this out came from this thread today where @Angus asked about Geneva and it made me reminisce
