What time is it? Watches and horology

I am becoming obsessed with the Maratac pilot watch.

The Maratac SR-1 is a beautifully made watch.

No doubt the pilot is as well.

I've always wanted a pilot so this might be tempting for me as well.

It's big at 46mm but sits very well.

Definitely enjoying wearing it the last couple weeks.

Clean dial and very lovely finish makes it a beauty to look at. I love the metallic black of the the dial colour.

Put a Timefactors Nato on my Vintage Aquatimer. Polished up the stainless steel hardware myself to match the watch.
It's completely changed and improved the character of the watch I think.
Really, really like it.

Yep, very nice. What year is it from? The case is quite late-50's or early-60's in design.

Hot damn that's nice. By far my favourite IWC of all - you done good with the starp.

Ok I guess they don't want me as a customer...

You need to join, then...

I don't like it if I have to register when I actually place an order, if I have to register to just take a look I can't be a customer. Just like if a real life shop tries to force me to use a customer card of some sort, I won't buy anything.

I have a seperate e-mail account for that kind of stuff.

I just refuse to use their "service" if that is a requirement. I'll take my money elsewhere and I know a lot of other people do the same.
