The quality of football is surprisingly good too (at away games anyway, when they're playing on a pitch not an egg box).

Christ not this again I have been to the North 4 times. Twice to Liverpool, once to Newcastle and once to Birmingham. Never again, it's not for me

Birmingham is midlands, Liverpool and Newcastle are 2 of the shitest places in the North.

Birmingham is West Midlands, infinitely more shit than the East Midlands, which is a bit shit.
