Updates
So I committed to my decision, I'm about to list the Yellow Neil in the classifieds. Only had it for a short while but it is time to move on. Here are some final pics before I took it apart:

So all the parts from the Yellow Neil have been used to rebuild this. This will be my practical, wet weather, work bike. Large wald basket replaced the basket because the fork is not drilled, will eventually be replace by a Cetma rack but cba to pay £150 for a new one. Will wait for a used one to come up in the classifieds. Clamp on brake will be removed from the anchor and put on this again. Tried to get the front race blade on but clearance is far too tight, no way its happening...

Yellow Neil is so much better than white Neil

Now that I will only have 1 Neil, I'm changing the thread up. I will be now reporting on all my current builds here.
To start off here is my new Anchor:
Hopefully picking up a pair of Dura Ace 7600 cranks and ring for this tomorrow. Not much plans for the future on this but long term goal is maybe to try a double disc or front trispoke setup (inspired by BigH).
//
Another recent purchase is the Martrac Lo Pro that was recently for sale on here. Me and my mate (@Miitch ) bought it together and will share custody. Original build is really a parts bin job. Goal for this is full slave, eventually double disc, it will be getting my aero sugino chainset. Should be getting built one evening this week.

Don't make me regret my decision! Talking purely about the frames, I prefer the white one, funner to ride too.

Might have something for you, what would be your budget for a front 26" disc? You after any colour in particular?
Frame collection is looking strong by the way

At the moment if I was to get one it would have to be pretty budget. I'm in a situation where I should be saving money, but if a good deal came about, I could be tempted. So basically the cheapest one you have haha. Colour isn't that important to be honest
Cheers man

I'm not sure what cockpit your going to use on the lopro, but i would be open to offers on my pursuit cockpit listed here:

Cheers but I've got a Pro Chrome stem and some cheap risers to throw on it to start with

Shtable is noice.
White Neil is definitely better than the yellow one (definitely not racist).
And you found your track lopro.
It must feel good being short :P.DA cranks will look the part.

• #65
what constitues 'short'?
-
• #66
Cheers mate!
I'm not short! I am actually taller then average! Just...

The Martrac is very nice. My mate had a curved top/down tube version. They were famous for mix and matching Reynolds and Columbus tubes to get a stiff, fast frame.

Apologies for the fallacious use if 'short'. Its based on my frustration of being 6ft 5, I usually take it to mean anything less than my height.

New cranks fitted. Now running brakeless!

Also this just happened:
Up and running now, next step is shortening bars a bit, grips, saddle and post.

Cheers, yeah the frame feels really good, it weighs literally nothing too because of the 753 tubing.
-
• #72
Wise choice in changing cranks. Both look better on their new frames.
-
• #73
I really don't think that chainring has worked on any of your builds so far
-
• #74
Clips instead of the diagonal straps would look much cleaner imho.
Apart from that; great looking bikes!

It is a very shouty part, I feel it works better on the martrac then the previous two though
I've been thinking, it makes me sad that the triple triangle is just sitting around. Its too good of a frame not to use. I think I want to turn the tt into my work/beater/bad weather bike instead of the yellow one.
To do this it needs to have a front rack to carry a bag for work. It doesn't have a drilled fork so I can't used my current rack. My options are either a cetma rack or a wald basket (probably the 139). Either one will do but the Wald is incredibly cheaper. Once I sort that out I can just transfer all my parts over.
Now the problem is I will be left over with the yellow Neil frame. Personally I don't have the connection that I have with the other two frame. Don't get me wrong, its a great frame, lovely to ride but it just isn't as special to me. I'm also a bit tight on money after the Anchor purchase and I really can't have a frame sitting around not being used. For this reason I think I'm going to sell it and invest the money into future purchases and upgrades.
What do you think? Before I pull the trigger...
