I didn't know how to get to Pride Park in a car last time.
Just in case people need reminding. -

I dunno, that was more Downfall.

Indeed a belated congratulations Mike, your bang average 'pool beat a team 4 point off relegation.

I thought the bigoted attitudes of your supposedly humorous blog posts were tongue and cheek but I guess not. Remember you are Chelsea and you are vile.
I also thought that the "Driver on the Wing" posts were satirical, even though I found them far too close to bigoted xenophobia for my taste. Turns out I can't really believe that any more.
As someone very new to this football supporting malarkey, I have to say that that video has really reinforced the parts of the football world that have always put me off.
I know that Clive is an intelligent, courteous and generally polite person. It seems that the exception to this is when he is in football-fan mode. The manner in which this dogmatic, quasi-religious devotion to a team can alter someone's personality in such a vile way is quite revolting.
My initial reaction is to put Clive on ignore and give up my incubating dalliance with "the beautiful game".
Classy.

Ahhh, new page and it seems that Clive's rant is to-be-expected behaviour.
Oh.
-
• #120283
i've seen him in the velodrome in cycling-fan mode ... not disimilar ... after a few pints

although the words if i remember correctly were " belgian scum "

Er. It's just funny.
His team got beat, he's pretty narked off, some twerp is telling him something he thinks is wrong, there's history in the bantz between Liverpool and Chelsea. In that both of them are as bad as each other, but obviously they started it first. Where they is the opposite team to who you support.I know you're an Arsenal fan now @mashton, but really, football fans jump about and sing and say silly things.

Cesc Fabregas denies Chelsea players' revolt claims

Come on Clive, react vigorously with whatever is left of your confidence and don't let your proudness being mortified.
You're Chelsea and Chelsea never surrender.
-
• #120290
^^ The first denial. Now we just need a denial from the manager and a representative of the club and that's confirmation of a revolt.
-
• #120291
Surname Pickering?
-
• #120292
Isn't there talk of him leading the revolt.
I for one would welcome a bit of pashun from fibreglass.
-
• #120293
Yes.
It is. -

Carneiro vs. Mourinho/Chelsea.
If found guilty would it constitute to a sackable offence for Mourinho?
-
• #120295
How can he, of all people, even consider being the ringleader of a revolt? He couldn't organise a game with his mates in the park, let alone a revolution against the manager...
Chelsea have to come to terms with the fact that a change is needed. From what I've seen so far this season, Terry has been the cause of too many holes in defence - Ivanovic also seems to go missing far too often.
And whilst Costa is the goal machine, he's as much of a liability as Suarez.
-
• #120296
If the club want to keep him they'll find a way around it.
-
• #120297
The man is a walking time bomb.
-
• #120298
Suarez is tame by comparison.
-
• #120299
Costa is all about the am dram.
What is more perplexing, is how Ivanovic can go from one of the best defenders in the league, to a nervous wreck, incapable of confidence.

Incapable of confidence?
@fussballclub that's sad. I knew they'd "rescued" him.
@dan exactly.
