  • Went out at 3am last night to take pictures in the fog, was totally surreal. Having real trouble editing the pictures though, hate the colour of street lights... I might have to black and white all of them. Heres one for now

  • So good.
    Is that the natural colour?

  • These are really great.

  • And this. Through a bus window! Ridiculous :)

  • Oops, didn't scroll to the bottom. This is great too! I've got a lot of time for this page...

  • Thanks guys

@HHC I added a tiny bit of blue but it is close to the original. The lights were white rather then orange

  • Love this one of Lana getting her make-up on for Halloween.

  • Am going travelling next year so would like a decent small camera to take, any advice on what to look at would be great. Do you think it would be better to get a camera or a phone with a decent camera, have been using my N5 for the last year to take photos and it hasn't been to bad.

  • If you think the N5 is good then pretty much any dedicated camera will blow you away :)

It totally depends on how much money you want to throw at it but at the 'fancy' end of the spectrum, the sony RX100 (mk1,ii or iii) is hugely popular and benefits from a larger-than-average sensor, as does the Fuji x20/30. Then there is the more traditional compact formfactor like the Canon S120, which is the top of that particular heap.
Panasonic do some really great dinky cameras with very good image quality too.

Its a 'how long is a piece of string' question...

  • Thanks, will take a look at the ones you have suggested.

  • Also, some cameras have wifi but don't be put-off the ones that don't - you can get memory cards with wifi to transfer to phones etc.

  • Take the N5 to bad, go on

  • oh yeah, takes me there

  • I've taken some pretty decent pictures with my Canon S110. It's very small so easy to take around and perfect for holiday snaps. I've just ordered a sony a6000 though so not sure it's going to see much more use.

  • somewhere south of toys hill.

  • I really like this. The brows of each hill align perfectly. Nice work!!

  • Slightly more abstract #JapanSpam today! I can feel a symmetry phase coming on.
More paper lanterns at Yasaka Shrine, Kyoto.
