You don't need to justify your methods to me. I swapped my 12hr training ride for a large beer tasting session. My Fairly Twatted Pizza eating session went bloody well though, I have to say. 100% of pizza was consumed in 20mins.
Adjustig my %s for my various intervals, is basically an excuse not to test TBH.
Beer tasting > sitting on bike for 12 hours.
