General tinkering, so that I don't have to put stuff on the floor. They may well be removable and just slot into something on the underside and something in the floor.

They've offered me £25

What about one of these in the centre, then fabricate some sort of clip to hold it

That's pretty good. The squished corner on mine bugged me, so I went for an exchange.
They were quick to sort it out too. Courier turned up the next day ( Saturday ) and simply swapped them over.

As soon as the fucking builders get out of my house I'm getting one of those for my new garage.

Mine's at the back so happy with the cash. I don't notice it at all and it doesn't affect the use (rolling, level etc). Kinda like I got a factory second for 25% off.
Edit: photo added. That's the worst angle. The castor mount is still square

Bit more work on the folding table uo until the battery for the drill died.
Folding legs. Couldn't do gate type legs as the space for them to fold back into against the wall isn't as tall as the legs themselves need to be (frame of the shed and the baton the table is attached to are in the way - bad design on my part).

Need either some long coach bolts or just some threaded M10 bar for the hinges and some metal strips to act as stops/lockouts on the hinge part.
The lower portion stays vertical as it collapses and the upper portion folds back in against the underside of the table. Feels nice even with just the g-clamps.

Folding action shots using drill bits in place of coach bolts. Also ordered some sliding bolts to act as a locking mechanism.

Came here to show y'all these fancy hipster bike coffee tables but got totally distracted by @stevo_com 's excellent folding worktop.
I also think I'm gonna have to invest in one of those tool cabinets; I've never seen one for so cheap that didn't look like tat. -

Anyone ever store a bike using something like this?
I'm looking at DIYing something similar, but for a tandem, so I can make the wall in my lounge it currently lives lent against a bit more useful and turn it into more of a showpiece.
Any downsides to storing a bike like that? I imagine it tilting slightly to be a potential issue, but if I cut the slots to just the right width it would hopefully minimise that. Also obviously the wheels protrude into the top of the storage which is a shame but not the end of the world

Finally got round to sorting the bike storage situation. The girls OLOMO and my LOOK kg96 + Bridgestone. Not sure where the next one is going to fit though!

If he puts any more in there his missus won't be able to get to the iron.
What's the work surface going to be used for? - ie whats the max weight and jiggling around going to be?
