If you get that, I'd be interested in hearing what you think of the quality.

Not expecting much out of it but it's not a massive investment if I don't get on with it. If someone can recommend another, better quality one for a justifiable price hike, I'd be interested.
I like it mainly for the quasi worktop element to it and having things more accessible than lifting trays in and out of tool boxes.

I got a chest from Halfords recently (6 drawers + cupboard) that looks very similar to those. It was down from £300 to £120 then I got another 10% off. I think it's permanently on offer so don't read too much in to the saving but I'm very impressed with the quality. Drawers are all solid and have a nice action. Slightly annoying it didn't come with drawer liners but that was an easy fix.
The castors are a bit crappy but unless you are planning on wheeling it around everywhere it's not an issue.
Looking at my tools now makes me feel like a dentist...

There's a Halfords one for £100 but like you say no liners and I like the way the eBay one has three small drawers at the top and hooks on the side. The castors look bigger on the halfords one but sibling as I can move it at all, that's enough.

Oooo, tool chest could be a good way of sorting my ever expanding collection of tool boxes and give me a surface to make a mess on...
Been wondering if there's a better way to store the bikes while having easy access and not taking up too much room. They're currently carefully stacked against each other at against the back wall, tandem at the back, but I wonder if hanging them might work better.
@HousecatHST has a good implementation but I can't really tell how far apart the hooks are/what kind of angle the bikes are hanging at. Any chance of some dimensions? -

Cheers! I can then figure out where the hell it might fit in the shed...

Is there anywhere in London that sells those Pedal Point storage thingies?

I'm mounting a bike hanger to a metal stud, do I need to use anchors or is a pilot hole enough?

Worth it

Awesome, cheers! I've found room for one too :-)
No more dragging out a toolbox and emptying out stuff, just to get a chain whip.

I already need another one! Mine got dented in transit, seems like it was set down in one of the corners a bit too roughly. Doesn't affect any of the function or use and it's at the back so doesn't warrant sending back (plus I'd binned all the packaging before I noticed). Sent them a photo to see what they say but I'm not overly worried.

Hi, sorry missed this till now, (thanks for your kind words) the rack is just about 2 meters square, which was all the space I had. The hooks are 26 cm apart, but I let the bikes dictate that once I had got the first one in place. The angle of the hooks is about 120 degrees but again, it depends on the space you have.
The bikes at the bottom of the stack (for want of a better way of putting) have had there seat posts removed because of the wall so they can hang at more of angle. The bikes hang much closer to the wall if I remove the front wheels too.

The internal spotlights with external solar panel are serving their purpose. As are the shed shackle and new tool chest.

You're not the only one. The packaging was sound. but the bottom right-hand corner has still managed to take a knock :-)
I think you could be sending the things back until the end of time, before getting one in perfect condition. I worked for Halfords many years ago and they were rarely in perfect condition.

Just needs covering in bike stickers now!

I emailed them with a photo and they said they could replace it or give me a discount. I have asked for the latter.

Just done the same.
Will have another look in the morning and decide if
it'll slowly drive me insaneI want to chance a replacement. -

Started on my folding workbench proof of concept yesterday. Turned out just how I wanted, have yet to design and make the legs though.
