That looks so damn good built up. I was reading this thread a couple of months ago and it's practically got me hooked back on this forum.
Can't see the latest pics btw...

Thanks.
Can you see any of them now?

Should all work now. The link is long, dunno why but copying images from google photos has become quite tedious. I remember it being nice and simple before.
I may try Imgur but I cant figure out/cannot be bothered how to copy image URL of flickrd images (at least on my mobile) as holding down on them just gives a bigger image.

Yeah, Flickr making it
impossiblea pain in the arse to copy urls is reason enough for me to avoid them. imgur is hassle-free and works perfectly fine for a forum like this.Pics indeed work now though!

black DA chainrings - the best of them all.

Looks great, black chainring is definitely a winner

black chainring looks great. are the bars taped??
-
• #213
Maybe removing the hand? looks fine to me

Thanks all
^^^ @panic
Are the bars taped?
Electric tape to gather what it would look like. Need to think about that tbh.
Both the contact points are pretty harsh. Plastic seat and insulating tape.
^^ @Tijs
What's wrong with the saddle?
Was really talking about the flare over the saddle. Makes it look a bit out of balance.
home stretch now
Pedals also. Dont forget about the aluminium handlebars and the wheels are a tall order.

Not NJSy enough. And in that condish with that black cage, must cost a lot.
I'm getting some cheap sylvans for a while then hopefully upgrading to these.

Actually the black back plate isn't overly durable. I'd look for the chrome version which are steel and hide scratches and blemishes much better than the brittle alu ones pictured.
I haven't searched in a long while but they did come up on the bay/craigslist on the reg. They are sexy looking.
Forget the older ax version as they have a different size crank bolt and need a converter to fit modern cranks. The 105s at a push pending condition. I have these for sale but they're not in great nick iirc.
I may still have a pair of the dura ace for sale...though I'm certain I ditched/sold the ultegra (tricolore). They marginally pip the DA due to the rarity in good condition (i.e. The 3 colored sticker in good nic). The engineering on both of them is staggering with 2 sets loose of balls plus a needle nose bearing to keep em smooth.
Obvious/easy njs = mks rx1
Though my attempt to overhaul them failed miserably- not made as well as the shimano and difficult to find spares. But they are kinder and more comfy on footwear than shimanoenter code here

i had a bike with the 600ax on. they looked very good but were very slippery. also they indeed have a larger size crank bold.

Actually I've got some (or at least something similar) I thought I would use for my Concorde. I Personally I don't think they'd look right on this though.
Would be good on the bridge stone. It was your secondary dibs and a mention of it in your thread that lead to some pretty pathetic pleading to @countryboj.
