Deteriorated how? build a fair number of them and they seemed pretty solid, better than Open Pro that's for sure.

this could well have already been covered and i dont know when this got written, but sounds like Archetype's have deteriorated in quality... anyone got anything else about this?
That's a couple of years old at least, it crops up periodically when people are researching Archetypes. I've never seen an explanation or corroborating reviews: I suppose you could drop Strada a line.
Bearing in mind the number of Archetypes that are in use, if there were any serious flaws it would be all over the internet by now.

or a good alternative, looking for a silver rim which could be built up for a lightweight classic-ish bike. really not keen on black rims+silver breaking surface for this..
