  • I still remember leaving the house 4am to go and buy CoD MW2 with a fake ID, then getting home and realising my mum had taken a day off work and was going to force me to go to school.

    Longest day of my life.

If I buy a PS4 before Black Friday it'll be because Fallout.

  • physical media lol

  • People who do parkour need to get a proper hobby, not just get really good at walking.

  • Assassins Creed is an interesting beast

AC 1 - Great story, terrible game mechanics
AC 2 - Possibly my fav. Mechanics fixed, great story
AC: Revelations + Brotherhood - 2 + DLC really, but the Ezio story makes up for that!
AC3 - Hated it. Fuck you Conor and boring story. Not even sure if I finished this one.
AC3: Liberation - Not bad, but didn't quite work on the Vita. Not tried the remake
AC4 Black Flag - Assassin Pirates! Story was meh, but the ships were awesome fun
AC: Unity - I'm almost finished, but there's just too much side shit in the game. Story is ok

That all said, besides AC 1, I've never paid full price for any of them, nor will I. They are worth $20->30 tops. Although, I have gotten major hours of game play out of them.

  • Playstation event has just announced No Man's Sky wont be out until June 2016.

    Booooooo

  • lol.

  • fallout 4 on xbone comes with fallout 3. this pleases me.

  • MASSIVE fuck you from Warner Bro's re: Batman Arkham Knight on PC.

They re-released it. As an apology for so late/being shit they are giving owners the previous batman games. Which almost everyone already owns. So basically nothing but a big fuck you.

They should have given the DLC Season pass like UbiSoft did when they fucked up AC:Unity.

    Massive complaints on steam.

Note: if you do not have Batman, and have PC, might as well buy it now on Steam and get the whole catalogue.

If you do have Batman, bitch on twitter/steam at them.

  • Apparenty need at least 12GB of RAM according to the update, welp!

  • I just saw that. WTF are they playing at ?

My thoughts are now that they just wrote an emu wrapper for the console version (hence the RAM+CPU requirements)

  • I'll buy it. When it comes out on Mac in two years time.

  • We are still working with our GPU partners to add full support for SLI and Crossfire. In addition, we are working with these partners to address stability issues on certain cards related to the latest drivers.

    Re-released unfinished games.

I'm surprised Max Mad was fairly decent coming from WB as well.

  • Mighty impressed with Witcher 3, stunning, sharp and extremely smooth, even thought the laptop's processor is below minimum spec (i7 2.4GHz vs. min of i5 3.3GHz).

I guess the processor isn't as important then?

  • bah bought a new 1440p monitor, it arrived. dead pixels.
I never have any luck buying LCD monitors.
I have yet to get one that does not need returned a few times to get one without dead pixels

    boo

  • It depends on the game, some stress gpu more, some stress cpu more. Either way, there are a lot more variables than just the processor clock speed to consider

  • Really enjoying Afterpulse on iOS. Freemium which I normally avoid like the plague given my weak will but have had great fun with this fast, detailed little multiplayer 3rd person shooter. The maps are small but 4 v 4 online matches are fun. It looks and plays nicely (especially for a shooter on a phone/tablet). There's also a 'training' mode when you're not connected to WiFi which has solid AI (with the caveat that they don't use cover as much as they should).

    https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/afterpulse/id917912662?mt=8

  • Great analysis. Wholeheartedly agree about assassins creed 2 and assassins creed 3 too. definitely didn't complete that.
Not fussed with getting unity and already anticipating the London setting will annoy me and the accents will be a bit....

  • That would make sense, got a pretty powerful graphic card, SSD and max RAM hoping that'll compensate.

If Witcher 3 work beautifully, here's hoping Fallout 4 will as well.

  • @Kirth remind you of anything??

  • I have no idea how developers cope, honestly. To be consistently insulted and complained about. Gotta have a thick skin.
The bitching on Reddit over DayZ is intense. If you don't like it move on, you are not really owed anything but a final game (at some point)... or if you are a part of LFGSS Clan get the hell back on for .59 (SOON).

  • Quick question- does MGSV follow on from Ground Zeroes in any way? Just wondering if I need to play it before the newest one.
