rather than doing that, you could get one of these ...http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/kcnc-bb30-bottom-bracket-to-shimano-adaptor-road-68-mm-prod33009/
I put mine in the freezer over night, and it just pushed in, then tightened it up, no bashing or bearing presses, and its about the same price as a BB30 to 24mm converter, and it doesn't creak.

Quick question if I can hijack this thread:
Is the CX Pro (disc) 135mm rear hub spacing (oln)?Need some cheap wheels for my 29er to get me going and I've found some from a CX Pro only problem is the seller 'doesn't know' if they're 135 or 130. I presume they must be 135 because of discs but I know 130 disc hub exist). Any ideas?

BTW I know the Formula hubs are shit. Its only a stop gap measure. Its working out cheaper than the cost of the rims (which I can use elsewhere) so worthwhile.

99% sure now. Which is enough for me.
Purchased the above, need a Bottom Bracket, BB30, can you get or do Shimano make a suitable bottom bracket, asked Wiggle, they didn't have a clue! I know FSA are compatible, but wanted to keep it all Shimano. Cheers
