thanks FBC, I just re-read the title, sorry for jumping in (as I live in Horsham), but I got carried away reading everyone talkin' 'bout their dogz.
Also, he won't go for a piddle or shite in our garden, so he has to go out for it.
But, if you are going to be away from the house for 8 hours a day, do not get a dog.
They are very social, being a pack animal.
