Does anyone make wide, relatively light 26" rims for rim brakes, or is there something vintage I should look out for?
The great thing about 26" rims is that they're already reasonably light.
The XM317 is reasonably light, got double wall and eyelit.
Trials rims are readily available in 26" and as wide as you want.
They'll not be super light but shouldn't be too bad considering the width. You can get single wall and cut/drilled out if you want to sacrifice a bit of strength for lightweight-ness.
