Well its a magic Pie 3 motor built in to a heavy duty 700c rim to fit in to a standard road frame, with twist grip throttle and cut out straight brake levers . Its the full kit other than the battery .
It did 4o mph and was a lot of fun on the commute to work with the lycra commuting racers 1
I also have a Heinzmann e-bike kit , slower but still good for 20 mph and easy to pedal ...
I am off out to collect the kids now , will mail you later if your interested .
Regards Allister

For the folk that would like the project split , happy to do that if its all going to be sold.
The frame and forks are for sale as a single item and won't be split .

Now open to offers on the chainset .... around £45 posted with sealed Shimano BB
Gazelle Cross Trophy …. Unfinished Project.
This bike was used by me as an electric bike conversion 5 years ago after a bout of ill health that curtailed my ability to get out on the bike.
For the interested, it was the test bed for a “Magic Pie” 48 volt 1200 watt rear wheel direct drive motor this allowed you to decide whether you got a good range or a high top speed .
You can guess what way I went which was crazy fast and nearly killed me on several occasion so I thought better of it !
As a result its been in store and was dug out yesterday as part of the general clear out.
Its a Reynolds 531 Gazellle Cross Trophy frame in original livery with Campagnolo long drop outs so it would do a nice fixed conversion 51.5 cm seat tube and 53.5 top tube.
It has the Suntour XC “servo assist” cantilever brakes and a Shimano 600 chain set with 53/39 rings There is a Campagnolo Front changer, seat pin and 105 headset fitted.
Its a nice bike and makes for a relaxed road / gravel ( how trendy .... ) ride .
Its a bit superficially dirty but no dings or corrosion damage .
Looking for £ 175 all together or 150 for the frame and head set.
If any one wants the magic pie conversion less the battery , just ask .
I am based in Edinburgh but really good at packing things in boxes for posting ...
PM me for more information .
