Exactly, it raised attention.
Only problem if there's other using the bike rack as well, and a slight touch will set it off.

Your bike might be safer outside with other bikes :)

That did cross my mind. I will do a recce later and see if I can find somewhere that might be better.

Bike are not allowed in the building.
If you're in a big organisation, tell CSR they could get a load of brownie points by providing 6 secure bike lockers in the space currently occupied by each parked car

Ain't that the kicker, full public view in a busy area are usually the best way to reduce the likelihood.

There is no harm in raising the possibility. There is plenty of space set aside for bike parking. I'm fairly sure they could install lockers for each of the sheffield stands in the space already set aside for bike parking.
The question is, do the UAE based UK shell company landlords give a toss?

Having said that, the security team on site provide CCTV or crime in progress reports that lead to arrests for theft about once a month according to the local police. They really want their tenants to feel safe I think.

I've used a jubilee clip around the fork blade/chainstay before to make it at least slightly more irritating to remove a wheel.

pitlock for the wheels and something as basic as this for your seatpost http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/pz-racing-mt5-3-anti-theft-seat-clamp/rp-prod94825 or the chain in the inner tube trick

Does having Indefinite Leave to Remain change a visa situation?
Specifically, does a student with a Jamaican passport but ILR here still need a Schengen visa to travel to Germany for a few days?
Thanks
-
• #71688
As far as I know, ILR only affects your entry to the UK, so you would still be under visa restrictions from other countries.
eg. I'm Canadian with ILR, so when I travel to the USA, I don't need to provide that advanced passenger stuff to US customs, although I reside in the UK and British citizens do.

What's the deal with the daily fail seemingly having all sports footage?
(I was looking for Anthony Joshua clips and was surprised to see almost 10 pages of stuff linked to their site.) -
• #71693
I guess it's to make people go to their shitty site. Do they have all the "big" stuff, footers goals etc?

Cheapest place to get an OK micro SD card online? I can't tell what's snide on eBay, doesn't need to be especially fast - it's just for my decrepit sat navs memory.

An alarm would be be useful in that security respond immediately to any alarms going off.
