  • Hmmm...

I'm looking for something like that. Basically a winter office boot for when the weather gets really shit.

    • Black
    • Rubber sole
    • Suit suitable

I'm keeping my eye out for a pair of Loake Hydes as well. Any idea how Meermin stack up in quality vs Loake?

Also does anyone have any experience of wearing boots with quick eyelets(?) with suit trousers? Another pair of more fashion-like boots often grab the inside of the hem. Just wondering if what looks like a stiffer upper might work better. The quick eyelets do make getting boots on and off a lot easier.

  • Suit suitable

The conclusion I came to is that the only boot that looks good with a suit is a black chelsea, and you need to have a well cut, narrow-legged suit to pull it off. A flappy leg will not do at all.

  • Cheers.

Years since I had a pair of Chelsea Boots. But I do always like the cleanness of them.
