Probably can

There weren't any bag checks (or security of any sort, really) and the guys next to us were openly drinking off-brand lager, so it seems to be fine.

I went last night and got fancy in the centre hospitality. Thought the racing was awesome, the sound terrible and it would have been so much better sold out

If you're after a snack there is plenty inside the velodrome, but if your after a meal then your best shot is westfield.

Found a iPhone on way to Velodrome this evening. Chap called Nick - who is wearing a cycling cap and appears to be at a velodrome in the picture - has called a few times but hung up when I've answered...? If you've lost a iPhone this evening holla me.
Update: owner found and reunited.

Anyone got any spare tickets for tomorrow?

Went yesterday and loved it, great racing and well organised, very slick. But, the Addison Lee sponsorship is annoying!

Oh yeah, I really hate how a specific company has put money behind an event I enjoyed attending.

Indeed. I see it as a huge positive. A company that acted appallingly towards cycling is doing its utmost to reform and repent. It has taken a number of steps, including having its drivers trained by UKCT, to change its position. It still has a way to go but it would be nice if more and more companies acted like this and, at the same time, pumped money into cycling.

More importantly, really looking forward to going this evening. Been watching a bit on television but live it will be so much better.
Pity the track centre is VIP rather than for the hoi poloi as it is in Ghent.

Was there yesterday and absolutely loved it, we were in the fourth row, section 107, right next to the finish line. Nate Koch was great fun, two thirds of our group were Yankees and he appreciated our fist pumping chanting.
Because of the twenty minute walk back to the station and the school night factor it had emptied out a little by the final chase event, but the atmosphere during the elimination and dernys were great.
There are pulled pork burgers, currys, sandwiches, wraps and hot dogs available in the velodrome. Big thanks to the hot dog lady who gave me one for free after I dropped one on the bag of a lady sat next to me.

^ this in spades!
We were over the other side opposite the finish line near 126.
Enjoyed every minute of it but was left a little confused by what was going on in the last race.
Loved the derny races especially and my suit still smells of 2 stroke mix today!
Kazunari Watanabe's custom painted LOOK was pretty special and Nate Koch is a great showman.
Enjoyed it when the riders, on one of the formation laps, were doing a mexican wave as they were riding round the top.
Great to see Terpstra there too.
Brilliant Womens racing especially the 40 lap Omnium.
Martin 2Smoove banged out a mixture of UK garage and current top 40 choons.
Would buy tickets for more days next year.

Going to see if I can upload a vid...

Really wanted to go to this but last night I checked the website for tickets for this evening's session and reminded myself why I hadn't already bought some. Hardly surprising it wasn't sold out - you could go to Belgium and watch 6Day there for about the same price. No idea why they keep doing that. £20 tickets throughout and they'd have filled the place to the rafters.

That was great racing, so close.

and £60 for jersey with sixdaylondon logo was a little bit overpriced

Got saturday tickets, right on the finish line; spendy but I hope will be worth it; anyone got any recommendations; can we take beer in?; food obviously will be pricey inside....medium sized picnic ok????

There is a volunteers section of the website that has not gone live yet; either they have loads and need no more or it could be a lfgss free for all when it goes live? My bets on the second......

Well up for that!
is there any chance of smuggling beer in, or is it a bag check scenario?
