stable goals...
do you still have the Low, the On One and the Rych?

Can anyone recommend a black, inline carbon seatpost?
Pro Vibe is likely to be decent, although if your saddle is currently in the right place you'd probably be better off with the 15mm offset rather than the 0mm. Whether the 20g weight difference justifies its being 3 times the price of the similar PLT design is a question only you can answer.

Haven't heard of them so I'll check them out. Was just a quick bodge to see how it looks. Could do with being pushed forward, so think an 0mm offset is the way to go. Not overly obsessive about weight, as it should be a fair amount lighter then anything I have ridden before.

If you're relaxed about the weight, just get the super cheap LT, it's still only 60g more than the Vibe and about ⅛th of the price. Probably about 60-100g lighter than the SR Laprade you have at the moment, so in weight weenie terms it s a 4g/£ win.

what would we do without Tester eh?

Decided to go for a real cheap One of these. Cheers for guiding me away from spending mega money I don't have.
May decide to upgrade down after Winter.

That look cheap, bear in mind certain saddle may not work with side loaded seatpost.

• #104661
Didn't know that was a possible issue..? If it is, it'll join the other spares and get used for something else.
Are there particular types of saddles where that is an issue then?

Oh y'know, like certain carbon rail saddle, oval shaped rail, SMP saddle, but standard saddle will work.

Should be fine then I think. Cheers for the heads up on that tho.

it'll be fine with a zoncolan, I have the same setup on my fixed.

Nice one. All ways loved the look of Zoncolans, so stoked to pick one up for a decent price thanks to @user48013.

The absolute most fun I've ever had on a bike this morning. Toe overlap is mental at the moment so on the look out for some 165 130bcd cranks if anyone has anything? Also need to do something with the front brake/pads, and maybe shorten the cables slightly.

Looks awesome

I found I need to run the pads very close to the rim.
You can put an adjuster in the top of the noodle.
-
• #104669
I think the main problem is because the forks are so tight that I can't get the pads to sit flat on the rim. Gonna try some other pads/carriers and hopefully I can get the angles better. The rear sit fine as the stays are spaced wider

Rad, much want

• #104671
That's ridiculously good
-
• #104672
have you tried swapping the thin and thick spacer?
-
• #104673
Yeah, almost tempted to loose all the spacers from the inside but then I'd have zero adjustment

raddest thing ive seen in a while
-
• #104675
I see, yeah you probably need to keep the two (one concave, one convex) washers.
