Yeah, I'm not really sure I could. I'm looking for something a lot more formal/conservative,but which are still practical for walking about in the rain and a bit walmer.
My main reservation was around the quick eyelets / fasteners and them catching on the inside of the trouser when moving. Jeans are heavy enough and usually a bit longer so that they don't snag.

I wear some black Red Wing Beckmans with a suit. But I have smallish feet for my height, which makes it easier to get away with.
