Still waiting, am disappoint.
I did have a conversation with a mate which postulated this theory, and we agreed that an ideal secret disguise for man-spider (to conform with accepted comic universe norms), would be for his alter-ego to wear glasses.
We failed to resolve whether he would need four pairs of glasses or one big pair of octo-goggles.
Alcohol may have been involved.
