They're often not that much more than the bottle itself if it's one of those fancy Spesh ones, and I think it's just a way of owning a bit of an expensive brand - the same way perfume is a way of owning something made by Chanel.

Really? i feel most people buying fancy bottles have run out of stuff to buy not the otherway round

not that any of it really matters, if you like nice kit you'll probably like nice bottles/caps/socks ect

Of all the extravagances in cycling, some slightly lurid bottles that cost only a couple of $ extra a pop are hardly the worst.

Tripple digit gram to £ ratios / padded shorts for almost £200 / aero wheels on club bikes etc etc. we're all guilty.
