FA have to be seen to be doing something against someone calling into question the quality of the referees (which, alongside the ability to painfully review each decision in slo-mo for hours after the fact, is the main problem).

I reckon something along the lines of the way Rugby does it. Have an official with access to the slo-mo/multiple angles footage.
